Poverty

·

A state of Insufficient, and inferior living.

It originates from the lack of cash, bad luck and many times from bad choices.
For some it’s a life long disease spanning generations that they cannot recover from.

Poverty breaks one’s spirit.
Vulnerable and lost, one is left with little choice but to be exploited of what is left of him/her.
A suffering that is not limited to an individual, but creeps into his/her surrounding.

We may choose to look the other way, or dole our petty cash.
We may shield ourself in the gated communities, guarded establishments, and the fancy resorts.
We may have no guilt, but fear lingers in our daily life.
The fear of being robbed, assault or tricked by the less fortunates.

Only the few countries have understood the real cost of “good-life” fear.
And so, they have invested into eliminating the fear rather than protection from it.

They have provided the surety of education, healthcare and commute – offering dignity in the living to the less fortunate among them.
