Freedom is the absence of fear.

Fear of all and any kinds.

Fear of survival.

Fear of getting sacked.

Fear of not providing for the family.

Fear of getting robbed.

Fear of foreclosure.

Fear of religion.

Fear to speak one’s mind.

Fear to stand for what is right.

Freedom is hard to come by.

In many societies/country freedom has to be demanded with sweat and blood – as it is never voluntarily given by the oppressors.

Once gained, freedom only survives in a JUST society.

A society that permits same freedom for all colour, creed and beliefs.

Isaiah Berlin – Men are largely interdependent, and no man’s activity is so completely private as never to obstruct the lives of others in any way. Freedom for the wolves is death for the lambs. The freedom of one depends on the restraint of others.
